“RECOMMENDATION FOR DISASTER READINESS”
In watching the news from California over the last few days and listening to all the residents who have suffered devastating losses we are thinking it might be a GREAT RISK MANAGEMENT IDEA for each of our clients to scan a disk of all of your very important documents, including photos of loved ones, to protect against irretrievable (and identity theft) loss should a disaster ever hit our area.
Documents that should be scanned:
ATM Cards or check cards front and back from your bank |
Bank Account Information |
Birth certificates |
Bonds |
Contracts |
Credit cards front and back |
Deeds to all owned real estate / commercial or personal |
Insurance policies (all types of property and casualty and commercial lines) |
IRA/401K/Retirement account #’s |
Licenses, Drivers or any other type you might hold, state or countywide |
Life insurance policies |
Marriage certificates |
Military discharge papers |
Mortgage papers |
Religious documents |
Social Security Cards |
Stock certificates |
Titles and registration for all vehicles |
Wills
